

The worst part of our stay was having to jump out of a burning hot shower due to a water issue that resulted in only extremely hot water (by this I mean too hot to touch even for a second) in all of the taps of our room, rendering them unusable for 2 days. I see no evidence of much needed investment in customer-facing touch points at this location with the exception of the exterior landscaping, which is still lovely. A prior reviewer mentioned the pool being dirty -it still is. The furnishings need replacement and obvious signs of neglect are everywhere. Our experience has been not at all like the previous visits or reflective of my previous glowing reviews. Apparently, they were sold to a new investment group just before COVID, which was the last time we were here. I am so sad to write this review, as we've been loyal Topnotch patrons for over 15 years and have stayed here a dozen times or more.
